Wisdom Comes From Many Sources

A Christian woman, a great friend of mine liked what a Rabbi said and emailed me a copy. I thought it was worth sharing.

Life is a story, and every one of us holds the pen. Sometimes, we go through chapters filled with joy, love, and purpose. Other times, the ink runs dry, the pages feel heavy, and the plot twists seem unfair. In those moments, we might think about placing a period—a full stop.

But then comes the semicolon; a pause, not an end. A reminder that though we could have stopped, we chose to keep going.

Each of us has moments when we feel like closing the book, like there’s no way forward. But the truth is, our story isn’t finished yet. The Author—you—has more to say. More light to bring. More love to give. More resilience to show.

The semicolon is hope. It’s courage. It’s faith.

Maybe you’ve been through pain. Maybe you’ve struggled. Maybe you’ve questioned your purpose. But you are still here; still writing; still creating a masterpiece.

And just like in a great book, the most powerful moments often come after the hardest pauses.

So don’t put down the pen. Keep going; your story is worth telling.
